Common Reasons Washer Isn’t Filling Properly
Several issues can cause water fill problems:
Faulty Water Inlet Valve
The inlet valve controls the water entering your washer. If it’s clogged, broken, or stuck, your washer won’t fill correctly.
Kinked or Blocked Water Hose
A bent or clogged supply hose can restrict water flow.
Low Water Pressure
If the water pressure in your home is too low, your washer may fill very slowly or not at all.
Malfunctioning Water Level Switch or Sensor
If the sensor that detects water levels is broken, the washer might think it has enough water when it doesn’t.
Control Board Issues
Sometimes, the electronic control board may fail to send the signal to fill the washer properly.
